A significant number of current dental and medical findings
are false and many of the current treatments are not meaningful or are harmful.
Our speaker, Prof. John Ioannidis, at the Taipei Academy of
Reconstructive Dentistry 10th anniversary Symposium, September 20th,
2015, is one of the most cited scientists worldwide. Prof. Ioannidis has 740
publications on Medline and his paper “Why most Published Research Findings are
False” has been the most-accessed article in the history of Public Library of
Science.
The Atlantic selected him as the Brave Thinker scientist
for 2010:”one of the most influential scientists alive”.
